The Era of Warring States in China was a period of chaos and discord. As a result, three major philosophies developed to guide the cultural and political progress of ancient China. Each philosophy gave a different framework to organize and establish an orderly government at a time when the Chinese yearned for social stability and harmony.
Using the documents and your prior knowledge, evaluate which philosophy would create the best government to bring about social harmony.
